Install DeepSweep in Cursor

Your safety net for AI-generated code, running in about a minute. Free, local-first — your code never leaves your machine.

Starting in Cursor

The package below works either way

Searching the Extensions panel won't find DeepSweep in Cursor yet, so start with the package steps below instead. They take about a minute and give you the same extension.

View on Open VSX

The package path — three steps

One download, then install it from the Extensions panel. The menu is in the same place in every VS Code-compatible editor, Cursor included.

  1. Download the extension package

Open the DeepSweep page on Open VSX and click Download. You'll get a small .vsix file — the extension, ready to install.

Get the package from Open VSX
  2. Add it to Cursor

Open the Extensions panel (Ctrl+Shift+XCmd on Mac), click the menu in the panel's top-right corner, choose Install from VSIX… and pick the file you just downloaded.

  3. Run your first review

Open any project, hit Ctrl+Shift+P and run DeepSweep: Review Project. Your grade and every finding appear in the DeepSweep panel — with fixes.
